Sadly, The Avengers Are Currently Extinct.

The Avengers look to be becoming outdated thanks to Marvel Studios. The first part of the Multiverse Saga, which will culminate in back-to-back Avengers movies in 2025, has been being played out in the MCU since the Infinity Saga. Despite this, Earth's Mightiest Heroes' overall significance in the franchise is minimised in Marvel Studios' recent ventures.
The main characters of the Infinity Saga were the first six MCU heroes. The Earth's Mightiest Heroes must be replaced now that just three of the original Avengers are still active in the franchise, and the majority of them are anticipated to be second-generation characters and entirely new heroes. Avengers: The Kang Dynasty by Destin Cretton and Avengers: Secret Wars, which doesn't yet have a director attached, don't appear to have the same cache as its predecessors did when the official new Avengers roster is established.
The Avengers movies serve as crossover events rather than just the exploits of Earth's Mightiest Heroes in the Multiverse Saga of the MCU. Therefore, there won't be a genuine Avengers-focused plot like in The Avengers (2012) and Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015). The first two Avengers films contained stories that were centred on Earth's Mightiest Heroes themselves, as opposed to Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, which concentrated on the conclusion of the Infinity Saga. Loki's (Tom Hiddleston) assault on New York and attempt to take over humanity led to the formation of the Avengers. Avengers: Age of Ultron, on the other hand, put more of an emphasis on the group's established dynamic while they battled Ultron, a distinctive foe. Marvel Studios are skipping a crucial step by failing to create something comparable in the Multiverse Saga by failing to establish the dynamics between this new generation of Avengers. Since their films no longer serve as cohesive team-building exercises but instead are merely crossover events, this essentially lessens their significance as a group.
Why There Are Only Two Avengers Movies in the Multiverse Saga
The Marvel Studios 2022 San Diego Comic-Con announcement included Kevin Feige describing Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars as the Multiverse Saga's climactic projects. The MCU architect noted that their current Phases are shorter since they are releasing more projects each year as a result of the addition of the Disney+ pocket of the franchise. Given all of the various projects the actors and crew are working on each year, finishing them off with crossover events like the Avengers movies may be too much. The actors who play the heroes have demanding schedules to juggle, and each phase takes place over the course of about a year. As a result, Phases 4 and 5 won't have any Avengers films because they will now serve as the bookends to far longer sagas that will wrap up quickly. It's fascinating if Marvel Studios are aware of how severely it affects the Avengers' status in the series as its top superhero team, even though this creative choice makes sense given the situation of the MCU at the moment.

If a full roster will even be developed before Avengers: The Kang Dynasty is curious given that the Multiverse Saga lacks an early Avengers film. There aren't many movies before Cretton's movie where they might be revealed, except maybe Thunderbolts and Captain America: New World Order. Who is now on the roster is unknown, despite She-earlier Hulk's proof that the Avengers still exist. The Avengers might not become obsolete if Marvel Studios releases the official roster for the new Earth's Mightiest Heroes team as soon as feasible.
