Ryan Reynolds Shares His Excitement for Hugh Jackmans Wolverine in Deadpool 3

Marvel Cinematic Universe fans have had an exciting few weeks thanks to the recent D23 convention, which featured a number of announcements. But after the event, everyone's favourite Merc with a Mouth, Deadpool, gave us the most thrilling news (Ryan Reynolds). Prior to the huge news that Hugh Jackman will be joining Ryan Reynolds in the new movie and reprising his role as the iconic titanium-clawed Wolverine, the gun-toting anti-hero first announced a release date for Deadpool 3.
The announcement elicited a wide range of responses, including one from James Mangold, the filmmaker of Logan. Reynolds has reportedly expressed his delight at working with Jackman in a Forbes interview. In the interview, Reynolds exclaimed, "I couldn't be more thrilled. "particularly to accomplish it in this manner. The fact that I get to work with some of my closest friends in the world is the ultimate perk of my line of work." Given that Wolverine had passed away in the 2017 film Logan, Jackman's return as the character is especially thrilling. Reynolds continues by saying that he is eager to collaborate with Jackman and is as thrilled as the fans to see him take on the legendary role once again. "However, I have the same sentiments as the supporters," he remarked. "Especially in this situation, I'm thrilled that this character is returning for another adventure. The goal of our project is to bring this partnership to the big screen, which is something that I believe people have long desired."

In 2009's X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Reynolds and Jackman co-starred. Reynolds played Weapon XI, a member of Team X. Reynolds had revealed the two were reconnecting in a popular Twitter video when he questioned Jackman, "Hugh, hello. Do you want to play Wolverine again?" And Jackman responds, "Yeah. Yes, Ryan. In the Forbes interview, the Deadpool actor admits that he had been putting off creating the teaser film and subsequent explainer content for weeks. Reynolds exclaimed, "I'm happy and I've been sitting on those two teases for a few weeks now. "When you're tampering with the zeitgeist in a way like that, it's one of those times where you're clicking send or a tweet or a post — your hand is shaking."
Although it is unclear exactly how Wolverine will return, fans believe it will involve multiversal antics given the MCU's expanding research of the Multiverse. As is customary for Marvel, the movie's plot information have been kept carefully under wraps. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, writers for Deadpool, will return to the project, which will be directed by Shawn Levy of Free Guy.
