Rabab Hashim is a Pakistani television host and actress. With Na Kaho Tum Mere Nahi, she made her acting debut. She portrayed Rukhi in the critically acclaimed Hum TV series Zid. She has also starred in Piya Mann Bhaye, Anaya Tumhari Hui, Ishqaaway, Mannat, Marzi, Aik Thi Misaal, Kam Zarf, and Meray Mohsin. Hashim has appeared as a host and anchor in a few television shows and sports shows in addition to acting. She also hosted the TV One show Social Diaries.
Early years
Rabab Hashim (aka Rubab) was born in Karachi, Pakistan. She received her BBA (Hons.) with majors in Marketing from the Institute of Business Management (IBM), Karachi, and her formal theater arts training from the National Academy of Performing Arts (Pakistan), where she graduated with full honors. In November 2020, she married.
At the age of ten, she made her television debut as a child reporter for Geo TV. Her first television appearance was in Hum TV's Na Kaho Tum Mere Nahi, where she co-starred with Ahsan Khan, Saba Qamar, and other senior actors. It was followed by several drama series, the most recent of which were Ishqaaway and Mannat. She is currently one of Pakistan's leading actresses. She has appeared as a host or anchor in a few TV programs and sports shows, including the sports show "Khelo aur Jeeto" on Geo Super and the T20 World Cup transmissions, in addition to acting and modeling in a number of commercials (ICC World Twenty20).
