Pooja Gor (born 1 June 1991) is a television actress from India. She is best known as Pratigya in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya. She appeared on the reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 in 2014.
Early years
Pooja Gor was born in Ahmedabad, Gujarat on June 1, 1991. Gor began learning kickboxing in 2015 for self-defense and to be physically healthy.
Career Television
Gor debuted on television in 2009, co-starring with Karan Kundra and Kritika Kamra in the romantic drama Kitani Mohabbat Hai on Imagine TV. She portrayed Purvi, the female lead Aarohi's sister-in-law. (played by Kamra). The show, which debuted in January 2009, concluded in September of that year.
Later that year, Gor was cast as Pratigya opposite Arhaan Behll in the Star Plus series Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya. After a three-year run, the show was canceled in 2012.
Gor co-starred with Vishal Gandhi in two episodes of Life OK's serial horror series Ek Thhi Naayka in 2013. In the same year, she appeared in an episode of another romantic comedy series, Yeh Hai Aashiqui, alongside Sehban Azim. She also made an appearance in the Bigg Boss 6 finale as a special guest.
Gor hosted Life OK's criminal drama Savdhaan India from 2013 to 2015. She appeared on Colors TV's reality show Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 5 in 2014, where she was the first competitor to be eliminated or evicted. She also appeared in Box Cricket League that year. In 2015, she co-starred with Sahil Anand in Life OK's medical series Ek Nayi Ummeed - Roshni as Roshni, a doctor.
In 2016, she appeared in an episode of Pyar Tune Kya Kiya. Gor and Abigail Jain competed in Colors TV's Kitchen Champion 5 in 2019. Gor will resume her role as Pratigya in Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya 2 alongside Arhaan Behll in 2021.
Film
Gor made her cinematic debut in 2018 with the interfaith romance Kedarnath, directed by Abhishek Kapoor and co-starring Sushant Singh Rajput and debutant Sara Ali Khan. In the film, she played Brinda Mishra.
Gor has been in a relationship with television actor Raj Singh Arora since 2009. Gor announced their divorce on Instagram in December 2020.
