Vildan Pelin Karahan Güntay (born 6 October 1984) is a Turkish actress and TV host best known for playing Mihrimah Sultan, Sultan Süleyman's only daughter, in Muhteşem Yüzyl and Kavak Yelleri (Turkish remake of Dawson's Creek).
Karahan was born in Ankara, Turkey, to parents Bayram Ali Karahan and Nural Koçyiit. Her maternal grandmother is an immigrant Albanian.
Karahan attended Ar College Elementary School and finished middle school at Ankara Gaziosmanpaşa Primary School and Demiş Primary School, respectively. She graduated from Sokollu Mehmet Paşa Lyceum and then from Anadolu University's School of Tourism Enterprises.
Karahan began her career by appearing in advertisements for Coca-Cola Light and Carrefour.
From 2007 to 2011, she starred as Asl Zeybek in the teen drama television series Kavak Yelleri (Turkish remake of Dawson's Creek), which aired on Turkish TV channel Kanal D.
In 2012, she was cast as Mihrimah Sultan in the popular TV series Muhteşem Yüzyl ("Magnificent Century"), which is based on the life of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent. In 2021, she starred in the historical series "Bir Zamanlar Kbrs," which was about Turks in Cyprus.
She also appears in the play "aşrt Beni," written by "Selçuk Aydemir," a well-known writer. She is a Broadway'den stanbul'a Müzikaller performer.
She is the host of the Bir Evde animal show and the Nefis Tarifler cooking show.
From 2011 to 2013, Pelin was married to fitness instructor Erdinç Bekirolu. She married Bedri Güntay on June 24, 2014. Ali Demir, their son, was born in December 2014. Can Eyüp, a second son, was born in March 2017.
