Pnar Altu Atacan (born September 2, 1974) is a Turkish actress, television host, and former model. She is best known for the family comedy "ocuklar Duymasn" (2002-2019), one of Turkey's longest running series.

Altu attended Saint-Benoît French High School for his education. She began modeling in high school. Her father died when she was seventeen. Altu, who was named Miss Turkey in 1994, graduated from Istanbul University's School of Political Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1997. She eventually went on to earn a degree in communication studies.

She began her career in television in 1995. She worked as a presenter on various newsmagazine programs between 1995 and 1998. She began presenting the food program Pnar'n Yemek Zevki in 1999, after which she retired from modeling.

She was cast in the Kurt Kapan TV series in 2000. She continued her acting career with parts in ocuklar Duymasn, Omuz Omuza, Davetsiz Misafir, and lk Aşkm. Pnar'n Mutfadan, her first cookbook, was published in 2003. She hosted the Türkiye'nin Yldzlar competition from 2004 to 2006. She began appearing in the new season of the comedy series ocuklar Duymasn in 2010, for which she received a Golden Butterfly Award for Best Comedy Actress in 2018.

Personal life

She married Umut Elçiolu in 2000 but divorced after a few years. She married actor Yamur Atacan, who is nine years her junior, in 2008. Su, their daughter, was born in January 2009.
