Olga Igorevna Kabo (born January 28, 1968 in Moscow) is a Soviet and Russian film and theater actress.

Biography

Ada Nikolayevna, the daughter of engineers Igor Yakovlevich and Ada Nikolayevna, was born in Moscow. She studied ballroom dancing, rhythmic gymnastics, art, and music from a young age, the latter at the Moscow Conservatory. At the age of 15, she participated in two films: Yaroslav Lupyi's youth drama And Everything Returns and Vitaly Makarov's musical film No Joking. Olga joined the Treatre studio at the Boris Shchukin Theatre Institute after finishing high school. She continued her education at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography, where she enrolled in Sergey Bondarchuk's class.

Kabo's debut film role was as Isabella in Sergey Tarasov's The Adventures of Quentin Durward (1988). She rose to prominence in 1989 for her role in Lysistrata Comedy (which included some nudity sequences), earning her the moniker "Russian movie sex symbol." She rose to international prominence in the 1990s for her appearances in The Ice Runner (Lena, 1992) and Bram Stoker's Burial of the Rats (Anna, 1995). Kabo joined the Mossovet Theatre troupe in 2002, and the following year she was named a Meritorious Artist of Russia.

Personal life

Eduard Vasilishin, a businessman, was her first husband. Tatyana, their daughter, was born in 1998. She married businessman Nikolai Razgulyayev in 2009 after her divorce. Viktor, their son, was born in 2012.
