zge zder (born 1 April 1978) is a Turkish actress best known for her roles as Cavidan in the Dudaktan Kalbe series, Emel in the comedy drama series Umutsuz Ev Kadnlar, and Kvlcm in Mucize Doktor.
Life and work
zder was born in Ankara in 1978. Her maternal ancestors are Circassian. "Bana Göz Kulak Ol" was founded by her and Asl Tandoan. She completed her middle and high school education at Ankara Private Yükseliş College. She first became interested in theatre during those years. She passed the conservatory exams in 1996 and enrolled at Bilkent University before transferring to Hacettepe University State Conservatory. She graduated from Ankara State Conservatory in 2000 with a degree in theatre studies and began her professional career at BKM theatre. She resumed her stage career in 2001.
She was a regular on Kanal D's Haziran Gecesi from 2004 to 2006, and her portrayal of the character Lale was praised by both fans and critics. Her breakthrough came with the role of Princess Cavidan in Show TV's Dudaktan Kalbe. Despite her successful television and film careers, she continued her career on stage, joining Istanbul City Theatres in 2005. She received the Bedia Muvahhit, Afife Jale, and Sadri Alşk theatre awards for her performance as Natasha in Three Sisters. She was nominated for an Afife Jale award for her performance in Leonce and Lena as Lena. She was then cast as Emel in Fox's Umutsuz Ev Kadnlar in 2011, a role she held until 2014. She then played Adile Yarmcal in the television series Kehribar. She then starred as Perihan in the Umuda Kelepçe Vurulmaz series for two years. She starred in Mucize Doktor, an adaptation of the Korean TV series Good Doctor, between 2019 and 2020.
