New Bassist Announced by Steel Panther

The Steel Panther men and Spyder have been friends for many years. But Spyder didn't perform with the band live until 2018. They had no idea that those shows would serve as a premonition of what fate had in store for their group's destinies. The band was in trouble in 2021 because they were in need of a bass player. Fans were treated to a range of bassists on several tours thanks to a thorough search that produced many submissions. In order to fill the gap, the band had even considered a few well-known bassists. It became clear to all four guys during the five-week European trip in the summer of 2022 that this team was unbeatable. Anyone who has seen the band recently knows that Spyder is the ideal addition to STEEL PANTHER after a couple more months of touring together honed the new lineup.
We wanted it to be you, Steel Panther said in a statement. We really wanted it to be you. Therefore, it won't be simple. It will be really challenging. We'll need to put in daily effort, but we're willing to do it for you. We wish to spend every day with you all, together with you. You are perfect to us. You had us at hello. You make us whole. We're going to require a larger boat.

"Claus & Paws Holiday Party" is a U.S. tour that Steel Panther has announced to go along with the hiring of a new bassist. After the band wraps up its recently announced Canadian leg of the "Res-Erections" tour 2022, the eight-city tour will begin in late November.

Just three months ago, singer Michael Starr and drummer Stix Zadinia of STEEL PANTHER spoke with RAMzine about their efforts to find a long-term replacement for founding bassist Lexxi Foxx. Michael stated: "We experimented over... How many video submissions did we receive? Probably [around 700]. And we watched each and every video. And we tested some things out on certain people. You guys will know when we locate the perfect candidate.

Stix continued, "We have our friend Spyder, who is a fantastic friend and an even better bass player, accompanying us on this trip. He's not a particularly good friend. I am joking. He is amazing. He and I first met in 1990. He's one of our friends, and he's doing the deed. We can't wait to jam with him, either. However, since Spyder has another job—a paper route—we are still looking for the permanent employee.

Michael continued, "We might never be able to find another Lexxi. I adore him. He is sorely missed. And I'm happy that he's following his passion. However, trying to replace him is impossible, much like trying to replace Stix or me. Thus, a bass player might never, ever be present. We may simply be auditioning bass players till I pass away.

Stix added: "And every time we get a new guy, we just say, 'Hey, come out. There is no exchange of money. Just give it a shot. We simply never stop doing it.

Travis Haley, also known as Lexxi, admitted to Rocking With Jam Man a year ago that he hadn't communicated to any of his former bandmates since leaving the group. He remarked, "I still speak with the singer occasionally; I have in the past. "But I think there are some sore areas, I think there are scars, I think there was a departure, the way it went down. But I find it difficult to discuss that.

Being that character for such a long time and playing with those cats was something of which he was quite proud. They are all amazing musicians. And while I must admit it's a little refreshing as well, I simply believe it is unusual to not have that [in my life] since I had been in character for so long.

STEEL PANTHER sarcastically claimed that Foxx "launched his side business, 'Sexy Lexxi's Prettiest Pets,' to bring in money for Botox during the lockdown" when they first revealed Lexxi's departure in July 2021. He decided to "hang up his mirror and focus on his newfound passion: making ugly dogs attractive" after learning that "his love for making pets pretty was bigger than his obsession for being pretty himself," the organisation said in a statement.

After being taken to "sex rehab," Lexxi missed a STEEL PANTHER tour in December 2018. The exact cause of his absence was never made public.

We didn't want Lexxi to leave, said STEEL PANTHER guitarist Satchel during a guest appearance on a "2020'd" podcast episode. Nobody, even many of his fans, wanted him to stop. I'm sure his departure has upset a lot of his supporters. But he is the band member who disbanded. I believe he has personal issues to cope with and just wanted to go and do that. So, I'm not sure. I am unable to speak for Lexxi Foxx. However, everyone will miss Lexxi Foxx and will wish him luck in all he does. He left the band, though, and we didn't dismiss him. So we'll have to find someone else who's younger, foxier, and doesn't require as much Botox, the medical term for the substance that doctors have been using for years to cure wrinkles and facial folds.

STEEL PANTHER, a band that was founded in 2000, is known for mimicking and magnifying the less appealing elements of 1980s hair metal, with their main lyrical theme being unrepentantly crass, non-PC sexual themes.

Operatic shrieks, sexism, shredding guitar solos, and libidinal overload are all present in the group's music, which has been compared to "VAN HALEN meets MTLEY CRÜE meets RATT meets 'Wayne's World'."

In order to focus more on original music instead of '80s metal covers, Steel Panther changed its name from Metal Skool to its current title fourteen years ago.

Haley, a founding member of STEEL PANTHER, and Diggity Dave, a longtime friend and well-known television personality from MTV's "Pimp My Ride," just announced the launch of their new band, HOLLYWOOD GODS N' MONSTERS.
