Naveen Waqar (Urdu: ) is a Pakistani television actress as well as a former video and radio jockey. She is best known for her role as Sara in the 2012 television series Humsafar. Her television appearances include Annie Ki Ayegi Baraat, Uff Meri Family, Alvida, Mol, Saya-e-Deewar Bhi Nahi, Kuch Na Kaho, Be Inteha, Tajdeed-e-Wafa, and Mah-e-Tamaam, among others. She made her film debut in 2013 with the critically and commercially successful social-drama film Josh: Independence Through Unity.
Personal life
In 2012, she married actor Azfar Ali; the couple divorced in November 2015.
Waqar began her career as VJ Fuse, which was an instant success, and she went on to play the parallel lead in the all-time blockbuster Humsafar alongside Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan. Waqar's next project was the hit Geo TV show Ainnie ki ayegi Baraat. Waqar is well-known for her serious acting abilities and has made a name for herself in the Pakistani television industry.
