Mone Kamishiraishi (, Kamishiraishi) is a Japanese actor. Mone (born 27 January 1998) is a Japanese singer and actress. She is actress Moka Kamishiraishi's older sister.
Biography
Kagoshima is where he was born. Her family spent three years in Mexico due to her father's employment. She is fluent in English and a little Spanish. Her musical school teacher advised her enter the 2011 Toho "Cinderella" Audition, which was sponsored by the film firm Toho Entertainment and in which she earned the Special Jury Prize. She made her acting debut in the final episode of Juri Ueno's NHK Taiga drama G: Hime-tachi no Sengoku. In 2012, she made her musical debut in The King and I. Masayuki Suo's musical film "Lady Maiko" cast her as an aspiring geisha. She was in charge of the theme tune "Maiko wa Lady," which was later released as a single as "Koharu." She rose to international fame in 2016 as the lead female part in Makoto Shinkai's anime film Your Name, for which she received an award at the 11th Seiyu Awards. Mone Kamishiraishi performed on the piano she presented in A Forest of Wool and Steel. She also studied classical ballet while performing in musicals. There is also a ballet scene in the fourth episode of the short film "Sky Blue Story" "Mone Kamishiraishi Nike and Snail." She portrayed Kanade Ooe in Chihayafuru, Aoi Nishimori in L-DK: Two Loves, Under One Roof, and Nanase Sakura in TBS's popular drama "An Incurable Case of Love" in 2020. She played Nami Suzuki in the drama series "Oh My Boss! Love is a Separate Volume" and Tensh-in Atsuhime in the taiga drama "Reach Beyond the Blue Sky." It was announced on December 24, 2020, that she will play Yasuko in the 105th asadora Come Come Everybody. It is the first time in the history of an asadora that three different heroines will be played by three different actresses. From 3061 applications, Kamishiraishi and Rina Kawaei were chosen through an audition.
