At the conclusion of her speech, Megan stated, "I do pride myself on being an open book. In light of that, I'd want to talk about an incident that I'm sure is on everyone's mind.
Megan said, "No, I do not know why Popeyes took the Hottie Sauce off the menu," after a convincing theatrical pause.
"And hotties, you need to speak with the Popeyes girl rather than me if you want your sauce back! Alright?" She continued, laughing, before starting the programme.
On Thursday, two males broke into Megan's Los Angeles house, as first reported by TMZ. The publication was informed by law enforcement sources that more than $300,000 in jewels, cash, and devices were taken.
On Friday, Megan responded to the news on Twitter with the statement, "Material things can be replaced, but I'm thankful everyone is okay."
"Hotties I'm sorry, but I really need to take a vacation after Saturday Night Live "On Friday, she tweeted shortly after discussing the break-in. I'm exhausted both physically and mentally.
It was a notion that was also represented in her intense and moving opening song of the evening, "Anxiety," which she sang in a performance with a beauty pageant concept that was one of the night's high points.
