Marina Vyacheslavovna Zudina (Russian: aрина еславовна удина; born September 3, 1965) is a Soviet and Russian stage and film actress.
Biography
Childhood and education
Marina Vyacheslavovna Zudina was born in Moscow on September 3, 1965. Her father was a journalist, while her mother taught music. Marina studied dancing, singing, and ballet as a child.
She graduated from GITIS (Oleg Tabakov and Avangard Leontiev's course) in 1986.
Career
She was admitted to Oleg Tabakov's Theater studio immediately after GITIS. "Ordinary Story" (Elizaveta Alexandrovna), "Nord Ost" (Olga), "Overstuffed Bochotara" (Sylvia), "Matrosskaya Tishina" (Tanya), "The Myth of Don Juan" (Elmira), "Mechanical piano" (Sofya Egorovna), "Last" (Love), and "Farewell... and applaud!" (Madalena).
Zudina began acting in films as a student. Valentina in Georgy Natanson's melodrama Valentin and Valentina (1985), based on Mikhail Roshchina's play, was one of her first parts, which she did while in her third year of studies. Then came Personal Case of Judge Ivanova (1985), After the Rain, on Thursday (1985), and Through Main Street with an Orchestra (1986).
In 1987, the drama adaptation of Yevgeny Gerasimov's Fun of the Young was released, and Zudina portrayed a different part than she had previously. Her character is an arrogant technical school student who decides to make the physical education teacher fall in love with her so that she and her classmates can achieve good scores.
Zudina frequently performed the parts of girls who came to conquer Moscow in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Alexei Rudakova plays Limitchitsa Masha in the drama Life by the Limit (1989); in the comedy Andrei Razumovsky Mordashka (1990) - a hairdresser who came to conquer Moscow; and in the detective Boris Grigoriev's Confession of the Keepers (1992) - a business and energetic girl who came to Moscow to attend VGIK.
The actress's most recent projects include the television series Behind the Scenes (2002), Yesenin (2005), Adjutants of Love (2006), and the films Jubilee (2007) and The Non-lonely Ones (2009).
"Mad Day, or The Marriage of Figaro" (Rosina), "Uncle Vanya" (Elena Andreevna), "Idiot" (Nastasya Filippovna), "Every Sage is quite simple" (Mamaeva), and "Sublimation of Love" (Paola) are some of Zudina's performances in the Theatre Studio.
She appeared in the plays Antigone (Antigone), Duck Hunt (Galina), The Last Victim by A. Ostrovsky (Julia Tugina), and Tartuffe (Elmira) at the Moscow Art Theatre.
From 1994 until his death in 2018, Zudina was married to Oleg Tabakov. When Zudina was a student at GITIS, the two became romantically linked. Pavel (born in 1995) and Maria "Masha" (born in 2006) are their two children.
