Mansha Pasha (born October 19, 1987) is a Pakistani actress and television personality. She is best known for her supporting roles in the critically and commercially successful television series Shehr-e-Zaat (2012), Madiha Maliha (2012), Zindagi Gulzar Hai (2013), Virasat (2013), and Mera Naam Yusuf Hai (2014). (2015). She starred as Zoya in the ARY Digital comedy series Aangan (2017). Pasha made her film debut in the romantic comedy Chalay Thay Saath (2017) and achieved critical acclaim with the crime thriller Laal Kabootar (2019), for which she was nominated for Best Actress at the Pakistan International Screen Awards. She also received the Hum Award.
Pasha's personal life began in Hyderabad. Zeenat Pasha, Hannah Pasha, and Maria Pasha are her three sisters. Pasha and her family live in Karachi.
From 2013 to 2018, Pasha was married to businessman Asad Farooqi. She married Jibran Nasir, a politician and human rights activist, in 2021.
Career
Pasha made her acting debut in two episodes of Hum TV's romantic series Humsafar in 2011, playing the role of Ayesha (Khirad's friend). She then appeared in Shehr-e-Zaat as Rashna (Falak's friend) and Madiha Maliha as Nisha.
She received praise for her supporting role as Sidra in the 2012 series Zindagi Gulzar Hai, which was a commercial and critical success and served as her breakthrough. She then appeared in several critically acclaimed television series, including Virasat (2013), Ek Aur Ek Dhai (2013), Kitni Girhain Baaki Hain (2013), and Shareek-e-Hayat (2013). (2013). Her performance in the romantic television series Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai (2013) earned her the Hum Award for Best Supporting Actress.
Pasha starred as Zara in Zara aur Mehrunnisa, Fiza in Shehr-e-Ajnabi, Sehrish in Hum Tehray Gunahgaar, Rumana in Lafangey Parindey, and Aqsa in Mere Apne in 2014. She first collaborated with Sadia Jabbar on the romantic series in 2015, alongside Imran Abbas and Maya Ali. The series was well received by critics and performed well commercially. She then played Sanam in the family drama Bewafai Tumhare Naam, Nusrat in the romantic soap Daraar, and Samra in Tumhare Siwa.
In 2016, Pasha appeared in three television series. She first appeared in Babar Javed's Wafa, opposite Babar Ali. She later worked with Junaid Khan and Imran Ashraf on Dil-e-Beqarar and Jhoot.
She appeared in the family drama Aangan, the romances Jalti Rait Per, the revenge drama Khudgarz, and the romances Tau Dil Ka Kia Hua in 2017. In the same year, she directed a six-part series with Elaj Trust about post-partum depression.
She appeared in two television plays in 2019, Juda Na Hona and Surkh Chandni, in which she played an antagonist for the first time.
In 2020, she will appear in Mohabbat Tujhe Alvida alongside Zahid Ahmed and Sonya Hussyn.
She will next be seen in Yasir Hussain's Koyal, alongside Fahad Shaikh.
