Lily-Rose Depp discusses her special upbringing as the child of well-known parents.

The French-American actress discussed her relationship with her parents, Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis, in an interview with ELLE magazine that was published on Wednesday.

Lily-Rose told ELLE that her parents kept her and her brother Jack out of the spotlight despite the fact that her father is a Hollywood actor and her mother is a French singer and actress.

My parents tried their best to shield my brother (Jack Depp) and me from it, she claimed.
Lily-Rose is aware that despite this security, her upbringing as the celebrity parents' daughter was exceptional.
It's a really special situation to deal with, and I realise my childhood wasn't like everyone else's, but it's also all I know, she said.

France is where Lily-Rose was born. Lily divided her time between Paris and the United States until she reached adulthood after Johnny and Vanessa divorced in 2012 after spending fourteen years together. They agreed to joint custody of their children.

The 23-year-old opted not to talk much about her father, but she did say that spending time with her mother was "really cool" for her and her brother. "Watching our mom go onstage and sing for thousands of people, and just be so in her own zone and in touch with herself and her art, it was just really cool for me and my brother to see her being the ultimate comforting and loving person," she said.
