Leyla Selen Uçer (born 5 May 1983) is a Turkish actress best known for her roles in the films Ara and Bug.
Uçer's parents were chemical engineers. She attended St. George's Austrian High School and received a chemistry degree from Boaziçi University. During her university years, she was a member of the Boaziçi University acting club. She also studied singing at the Istanbul University State Conservatory. She spent a year on scholarship at the Academy Istanbul. She also received a scholarship to finish her master's degree at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Ensemble Theater produced her play, American Dream, off-Broadway.
When she returned to Turkey, she was cast in the 2004 film Anlat Istanbul, written by Ümit Ünal. She also appeared in Selim Demirdelen's film Külkedisi. She then took part in DOT's adaptation of Bug. She was nominated for the Afife Jale Awards for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her performance in Haldun Dormen's Kantocu at Istanbul City Theatres. She played Gül in the 2007 film Ara, directed by Ümit Ünal. She shared the Best Actress award at the 15th International Adana Film Festival with Ayça Damgac for this role. In 2008, she played a prostitute in O... ocuklar. She played Emel in Binbir Gece in 2009. The same year, she was cast as Asuman in Hanmn iftlii. She won the Golden Orange Award for Best Actress in 2019 for her role in Ümit Ünal's Aşk, Büyü, vs.
