Valeria Lvovna Kudryavtseva (Russian: aлери вовна удрвева, ера удрвева; born May 19, 1971) is a Kazakhstani-born Russian television presenter, actress, singer, and dancer best known as Lera Kudryavtseva.
Biography
Kudryavtseva was born in 1971 in Ust-Kamenogorsk to an ethnic Russian family. Despite her desire to be a doctor, Kudryavtseva enrolls at the local cultural institute. While her sister relocates to Moscow, Kurdyavtseva remains in her hometown and begins working as a concert organizer at the local House of Culture. One of the shows features the then-popular boy band Laskovyi Mai. Kudryavtseva begins working as a supporting vocalist and dancer for numerous bands and musicians, including Evgeny Osin, after marrying the band's drummer Sergei Lenyuk in 1990.
Kudryavtseva moves to Moscow and enrolls at the Russian Academy of Theatre Arts. Kudryavtseva passed a screen test in 1995 to co-host the show Partiynaya zone on the minor television station TV-6 with Igor Vernik.
Her big break as a presenter came in 2002, when she co-hosted the first episode of New Wave with Maksim Galkin. The presentation became one of Russia's most watched television programs in 2002. Since then, Kudryavtseva has hosted the competition every year.
Kudryavtseva also became a well-known presenter on the Russian commercial television network NTV, hosting shows such as Zvyozdy soslish'. In addition, in 2016, she began presenting the show Secret for a Million, in which famous celebrities answer difficult questions about their own lives in order to raise money for charity.
Kudryavtseva has remarked that Russian President Vladimir Putin would be her ideal visitor.
Private life
Matvei Morozov (born 1972) was her husband from 2004 to 2007.
From 2008 to 2012, she was in a relationship with musician Sergey Lazarev.
She is married to Igor Makarov (since June 2013), and the couple has a daughter (born 2018).
