Lalita Panyopas (Thai: ; RTGS: Lalita Panyophat, nickname Mew; born October 5, 1971) is a Thai film and television actress. In Thailand, she is most known for her roles in lakorn (soap operas).

Biography

She appeared in a number of feature films in the late 1980s and was also the lead actress in a number of Thai soap operas from the late 1980s to the early 2000s. Tum, the unlucky major character in Pen-Ek Ratanaruang's 1999 film Ruang Talok 69, was her most recognized film performance. She reconnected with Pen-Ek in 2007, starring in Ploy, which premiered in the Director's Fortnight at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival.

Private life

She completed her secondary education at Triam Udom Suksa School and her bachelor's degree at Srinakharinwirot University's Faculty of Education. She received her master's degree in interior design from the University of Middlesex in the United Kingdom.

Panyopas is married to Narabadi Sasiprapha, a police officer of the Royal Thai Police. Sasidej (Plankton) and Sakdidej (Eton) Sasiprapha are their two sons.
