Krystal Jung Wiki, Age, Biography, Height, Boyfriend, Family, Images, And More
Chrystal Soo Jung (born October 24, 1994), also known as Krystal, Krystal Jung, or Jung Soo-jung (Korean: ), is a South Korean-American singer and actress. She made her debut in 2009 as a member of the South Korean girl group f(x), and she has also been a member of SM Entertainment's project group SM the Ballad. She has also appeared in several South Korean drama series, including The Heirs (2013), My Lovely Girl (2014), Prison Playbook (2017), The Bride of Habaek (2017), Player (2018), Search (2020), Police University (2021), and Crazy Love (2022).
Jung was born Chrystal Soo Jung in San Francisco, California, in the 1980s, after her family relocated from South Korea.
Jung and her sister Jessica Jung were spotted by SM Entertainment during a family trip to South Korea in early 2000, earning her a cameo appearance in Shinhwa's "Wedding March" music video. SM provided Jung and her sister with singing and dancing lessons in order to professionally prepare them for a career in music. Her parents, however, turned down the offer because she was too young, and they only allowed her sister to join the company at first. Her sister went on to become a member of the girl group Girls' Generation. They have since appeared in numerous events together.
Jung began appearing in television commercials in 2002. She debuted in a Lotte commercial alongside South Korean actress Han Ga-in. Her parents finally agreed to let her join SM in 2006, and the agency then enrolled her in dance classes. She trained for three years before making her f(x) debut in 2009.
Jung attended Korea Kent Foreign School after moving to South Korea, and she graduated from Hanlim Multi Art School on February 7, 2013, where she was honoured with an achievement award. She is currently a theatre major at Sungkyunkwan University.
