Kratika Sengar, commonly known as Kratika Sengar Dheer, is a popular Indian television actress. She made her debut in Kasautii Zindagii Kay in 2007 as Prerna Gill, and she also appeared in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi as Sanchi "Sugandi."

Kratika got her big break in Jhansi Ki Rani. She went on to appear in Punar Vivah, Service Wali Bahu, and Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki. She also appears in My Father Godfather, a 2014 Bollywood film.

Early years

Kratika Sengar was born into a Sengar Rajput family in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. She attended Methodist High School in Kanpur before moving to Delhi and graduating from Amity University in Noida with a degree in Mass Communication.

Personal life

Kratika Sengar married Nikitin Dheer, son of actor Pankaj Dheer, in an arranged marriage on September 3, 2014. They have a daughter.

Career Beginnings and Early Years (2007–2011)

Kratika Sengar began her acting career in 2007 with the series Kasautii Zindagii Kay, then in 2008 with "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi." In 2008, she landed another Balaji Telefilms serial, Kya Dill Mein Hai. She then made a brief appearance on Sony TV's comedy show Bura Na Mano Holi Hai. She was also a contestant on the reality show Lux Kaun Jeetega Bollywood ka Ticket.

Sengar received her first big lead role in Zee TV's Jhansi Ki Rani in 2009. She made a brief cameo in Balaji's show Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil. She also starred in an episode of Aahat in 2010.

Success and leadership roles (2012–2015)

Kratika made her television debut in 2012, opposite Gurmeet Choudhary in Zee TV's Punar Vivah. The show concluded on May 17, 2013. She appeared on Qubool Hai to promote her programme while playing Aarti. She had a guest appearance in Star Plus' show Ek Veer Ki Ardaas...Veera in January 2014. Later that year, she appeared on Life OK's Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev, which starred Mohit Raina and Mouni Roy, before the show ended.

Her first film, My Father Godfather, was released in 2014. Kratika appeared in Zee TV's upcoming Service Wali Bahu in 2015.

Establishment and advancement in one's career (2016–present)

Sengar starred in Ekta Kapoor's programme Kasam Tere Pyaar Ki in 2016. Shivani Tomar has taken over her role. She returned in September of 2016. The show was cancelled on July 27, 2018.

She appeared as the Narrator in the 2017 programme Chandrakanta. She made an appearance in Choti Sarrdaarni in 2021.
