The 38-year-old reality star and former "One Tree Hill" actress made the admission on her "Whine Down" podcast, which was released on Monday (01.11.22). Meghan, who is also 38, was a guest on the show.
Jana said she had connected with Meghan online as a result of their respective divorces to start their dialogue.
She did, however, acknowledge receiving a direct message from Meghan of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," who said, "At least your ex (Mike) is hot."
Mother of two Jana, who has children with former American football player Mike, 35, including son Jace, 3, and daughters Jolie, 6, said: "The hotness has nothing to do with it. I don't have any attraction to my ex when I look at him.
The bright side, I would have remarked, is that you have lovely children.
Meghan, a mother of three who has been through three divorces, retorted that she was trying to "make light of a s***** situation" because she understands what it's like "to be with a s***** person that does s***** things to you."
"I said it because I felt it was a compliment," she said. It struck me as a kind comment. When I've recounted my side of the story, the response I've gotten is that you overreacted and that perhaps you were feeling sensitive.
"I'm sorry if I offended you, but I certainly wasn't making light of anything," the speaker said.
In a recent interview with Jada Pinkett Smith on "Red Table Talk," Jana claimed that her ex-husband Mike had affairs with over 13 other women during their six-year marriage.
"I know we're both in better places, but this year, my kids won't be waking up in my house on Christmas Day," she added. This one will hurt.
When Mike was a member of the Washington Commanders in 2014, Jena began dating him. However, they broke up a few weeks later after Mike admitted to infidelity.
The pair then reconciled, became engaged in December 2014, and were wed the following year. However, they again broke up in 2016, and then reconciled in 2017.
Jena filed for divorce last year, and according to the terms of their child custody arrangement, she will have primary custody and will be able to spend roughly two-thirds of the year with the kids, with Mike having the other third.
