Trevor, presenter of The Daily Show, recently criticised the Donda rapper for his anti-Semitic remarks.
On Twitter, Kanye said he would go "death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE," a misquotation of the United States military term DEF CON 3. He also mentioned this in an interview with Tucker Carlson in an Instagram post.
"I don't even know where to begin with this s**t," Trevor said. I mean, you're telling your 50 million followers to be anti-Semites, right?
Continuing on Kanye's usage of the incorrect military phrase, the South African TV host said, "I know this is not the point but that's not how you pronounce it. To be sure, this is hardly the primary problem. It's no secret to me that... However, we are in DEF CON 3 right now. Okay, so it's not the third death penalty. It's as if "death con" were a convention where the newest coffin designs were shown.
After announcing his departure from The Daily Show in December after seven years at the helm, Trevor went on to say that he felt bad for the conservative right wing of America, whom the Yeezy designer represented.
What can I say? I really feel sorry for conservatives in the United States. He then explained why: "because they're getting Kanye now." They didn't get College Dropout, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, or Graduation. They're getting Kanye now because they missed out on everything else. It's like going on a date with the king of the prom twenty years after high school.
