Jung Eun-ji Wiki, Age, Biography, Height, Boyfriend, Family, Images, And More
Jung Eun-ji (born Jeong Hye-rim on August 18, 1993) is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actress, radio DJ, musical actress, and voice actress who goes by the moniker Eunji. She is best known as a member of the Apink girl group from South Korea. In 2012, Jung made her acting debut in the coming-of-age drama Reply 1997. She has since appeared in the films That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013), Trot Lovers (2014), Cheer Up! (2015), Untouchable (2017), Work Later, Drink Now (2021-2022), and Blind (2022), as well as numerous voice acting roles. Dream, her debut solo album, was released in 2016.
Childhood and education
Jung Eun-ji was born on August 18, 1993 as Jeong Hye-rim in Haeundae, Busan. When she was in middle school, her name was legally changed to Jung Eun-ji. Jung Min-ki, her younger brother, is her only sibling. Hapdo Kindergarten, Shinjae Elementary School, Jaesong Girls' Middle School, and Hyehwa Girls' High School were all places she went. Jung won first place in the KBS network's Exciting Day Enjoyable Day ( ) programme in 2004. Jung passed the auditions to become Apink's lead singer in November 2010. She had no professional training prior to joining Apink and had only trained with the group for two months.
Apink's musical career
Apink is the main article.
In March 2011, Jung was revealed to be the fourth member of Apink via an online video of her covering Jennifer Hudson's "Love You I Do". Prior to her debut, Jung worked with the rest of the group to film Apink News. Jung made her Apink debut as a main vocalist on Mnet's M Countdown on April 21, 2011, with two songs, "Mollayo" and "Wishlist," from Apink's debut extended play Seven Springs.
Jung's solo work has included collaborations with a variety of artists for OSTs and promotional songs. Jung Eun-ji and fellow Cube artist Yang Yo-seob performed the duet track "Love Day" for the project A Cube for Season #Green. Jung recorded two promotional singles, "All For You" and "Our Love Like This," with Reply 1997 co-star Seo In-guk for the drama's soundtrack in August 2012. On the Gaon Single Chart, "All For You" became one of the year's best-selling singles.
Jung collaborated with labelmate Huh Gak on duets titled "Short Hair" and "Break Up To Make Up" in 2013 and 2014, respectively, which were well received by listeners and ranked atop major Korean online music charts. Her first solo single, "It's You," was released for the soundtrack of Three Days.
Jung made his solo debut on April 18, 2016, with the EP Dream, which included six songs. Jung wrote the title song "Hopefully Sky," which recounts her memories of her father. "Hopefully Sky" reached the top of eight local music charts, and the album sold 30,000 copies upon its initial release.
Jung released her second EP, The Space, in April 2017. The title track, "The Spring," and its accompanying music video were released on April 10 and debuted in the top ten on local music charts. Jung performed her first solo concert, "Attic," at Ewha Womans University's Samsung Hall from June 3 to 5, 2017.
Jung released a music video for her third EP Hyehwa's single "Being There" on October 18, 2018.
Jung will release her fourth EP Simple, along with the title track "AWay," on July 15, 2020.
IST Entertainment announced on October 30, 2022, that the release of the remake album Log, which was originally scheduled for November 2, had been postponed to November 11 due to the aftermath of the Seoul Halloween crowd crush.
IST Entertainment will launch on November 17, 2022. Jung has announced that he will perform solo concerts in Travelog on December 10 and 11.
Career as an actor
Jung made her acting debut in Reply 1997, a nostalgic dramedy set in the 1990s that went on to become one of the highest-rated Korean series on cable television. She portrayed the female lead, a die-hard H.O.T. fan who becomes a TV drama writer. Critics and audiences praised Jung's comedic and emotional acting, which was impressive for a newcomer, as well as her authentic Busan dialect. She won several awards for the role, including the 49th Baeksang Arts Award for Best New TV Actress.
Jung starred as Elle Woods in a Korean production of the Hollywood film-turned-musical Legally Blonde. From November 16, 2012, to March 17, 2013, the show was on the air.
Jung was then cast in a supporting role in That Winter, the Wind Blows, a 2013 melodrama. She won Best Performance at the 2nd APAN Star Awards and New Star at the SBS Drama Awards for her role.
She appeared in another musical, the stage adaptation of the 2004 television series Full House, in 2014. Jung went on to star in the romantic comedy series Trot Lovers, which depicts a female singer's struggles to achieve success in the old-fashioned musical genre trot.
Jung starred as the female lead in the KBS2 high school drama Cheer Up! in 2015, portraying a high school student who is at the bottom of her class.
Jung was cast in JTBC's action melodrama Untouchable, which premiered on November 24, 2017.
Jung was cast in the horror film 0.0MHz, based on the webtoon of the same name, in 2018.
Jung was cast in the musical Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 in 2020.
Jung was cast as Kang Ji-goo, an origami YouTuber, in TVING's web series Work Later, Drink Now in 2021. From April 1 to April 6, 2022, the series premiered at the Cannes International Series Festival 2022.
In 2022, she appeared as a social worker in the mystery thriller television series Blind.
