John Stamos: I transformed from a geeky youngster to a teen idol.

John Stamos: I transformed from a geeky youngster to a teen idol.

The 59-year-old actor began his career in his late teens on the soap opera "General Hospital" and stated that he had written some "hard chapters" to demonstrate that "anyone can make it" in show business when reminiscing on his life for his upcoming memoir "If You Would Have Told Me?"

He stated: "I began with a few challenging passages. Because I didn't want it to be cradle to grave, it skips around to various points in my life. In school, I was a geeky kid, so to transform overnight into a teen idol... I wanted to demonstrate that everyone can succeed if I can."
John is "proud" that he was able to film the second season of school sports-themed Disney+ series "Big Shot" so soon after his friend and former co-star had passed away. John co-starred on the classic sitcom "Full House" with late comedian Bob Saget, who was discovered dead in a hotel room back in January at the age of 65 after inadvertently hitting his head.

He stated to the UsWeekly magazine: "The school becomes coed in season two, and we highlight the disparities between men's and women's athletics. Also highlighted is my bond with my daughter Emma (Sophia Mitri Schloss). One of the things I'm pleased of is that we began [production] immediately following Bob Saget's passing. I wanted to delve into my feelings for Bob and Marvyn's thoughts on his legacy—what will he leave behind when he passes away—because I don't think he realised how much he was loved."
