Jiang Shuying (Chinese: ; pinyin: Jing Shyng, born 1 September 1986) is a Chinese actress better known as Maggie Jiang. She received her education at the Shanghai Theatre Academy and the University of East Anglia. (MSc Media Economics, 2011).
Career
Jiang rose to prominence for her performance in the 2013 film So Young, for which she received an Asian Film Award for Best Newcomer. She later received the Huading Awards for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the family drama A Servant of Two Masters, alongside Zhang Jiayi and Yan Ni.
She appeared in the medical drama Grow Up and the romantic comedy series My Best Ex Boyfriend in 2015.
She co-starred in the 2016 romance drama To Be a Better Man with Sun Honglei. During its run, the series was extremely popular and received great reviews. Jiang earned the Best Screen Performance award at the iQiyi All-Star Carnival for her performance. She received Best Supporting Actress at the 3rd China Australia International flick Festival the same year for her work in the action flick Call of Heroes.
Jiang appeared in the 2018 modern romance dramas Memories of Love, co-starring Wallace Chung and Aaron Yan, and Mr. Right, co-starring Jin Dong.
Jiang appeared in the esports drama The King's Avatar in 2019. She appeared in the historical fantasy drama Novoland: Eagle Flag the same year. Jiang came in 43rd place on the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list.
Jiang co-starred in the modern romance drama Wait in Beijing alongside Li Yifeng in 2020, as well as the historical drama Held in the Lonely Castle and the female-centric modern drama Nothing But Thirty.
