Jasmin Bhasin (born 28 June 1990) is an Indian model and actress who works in both Hindi television and Punjabi films. She made her debut in the Tamil film Vaanam in 2011. Bhasin is most recognized for her roles in Tashan-e-Ishq (2015-16) as Twinkle Taneja and Dil Se Dil Tak as Teni Bhanushali. (2017-18). She has also appeared in reality shows such as Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made in India, and Bigg Boss 14.
She also portrayed Happy Mehra in Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji and Nayantara in Naagin 4: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel. In the comic movie Honeymoon, Bhasin made her Punjabi cinema debut alongside Gippy Grewal. (2022).
Early and personal life
Bhasin was born on June 28, 1990, to a Sikh family in Kota, Rajasthan. She graduated from a hospitality institution in Jaipur after finishing her studies in Kota.
During Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 in 2018, Bhasin met actor Aly Goni. After competing on Bigg Boss 14, the two started dating in 2021.
Career
Early in one's career (2011–2015)
Bhasin began her acting career in 2011 with the Tamil film Vaanam. She later appeared in a few more South Indian films, including Malayalam's Beware of Dogs (2014), Telugu's Veta (2014), and Ladies & Gentlemen (2015). (2015).
In August 2015, she made her television debut as Twinkle Taneja in Zee TV's popular romantic Tashan-e-Ishq, with Zain Imam and Sidhant Gupta.
Recognition and breakthrough (2017–2019)
She was seen in January 2017 as Teni Bhanushali in Colors TV's love triangle serial Dil Se Dil Tak, alongside Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai. The show was cancelled in June of 2018.
She made her reality television debut on Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, when she ended in seventh place. She began as Happy Mehra in StarPlus's Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji in January 2019 and was replaced by Donal Bisht in June 2019.
In December 2019, she debuted as Nayantara with Vijayendra Kumeria and Nia Sharma in Ekta Kapoor's iconic supernatural serial Naagin 4: Bhagya Ka Zehreela Khel on Colors TV till her part ended two months later in February 2020, when Rashami Desai took over.
In August 2020, she competed for the second time in Colors TV's stunt-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi - Made In India, finishing third.
ascension to prominence (2020–present)
In October 2020, she competed in Colors TV's reality show Bigg Boss 14, finishing in 11th place.
She appeared in various Hindi and Punjabi music videos in 2021 for channels such as T-Series, Desi Music Factory, and Saregama.
Bhasin began filming for her first Punjabi film, Honeymoon, with Gippy Grewal, in Chandigarh in January 2022; filming was concluded in London in April 2022, and the film was released on October 25, 2022.
Bhasin was voted No. 16 in The Times of India's Most Desirable Women of Indian Television in 2018, No. 12 in 2019, and No. 3 in 2020.
