Wu Qian (Chinese: ; pinyin: W Qiàn, born September 26, 1992) is a Chinese actress better known as Janice Wu. She rose to prominence as Zhao Mosheng's younger counterpart in the 2015 hit romance drama My Sunshine, and she also appeared in the television series My Amazing Boyfriend (2016), Fighter of the Destiny (2017), The Brightest Star in the Sky (2019), Le Coup de Foudre (2019), and Skate into Love (2019). Career
Wu made her acting debut in Heroes of Sui and Tang Dynasties 3 & 4 in 2014. She rose to prominence as Mu Jianping in the wuxia drama The Deer and the Cauldron.
Wu rose to prominence in 2015 for her role as Zhao Mosheng's younger counterpart in the hit romance drama My Sunshine. The following year, she made her directorial debut with the romantic comedy series My Amazing Boyfriend. (2016). The series was a hit, with over 2 billion views by the end of its run.
Wu appeared in the blockbuster fantasy drama Fighter of the Destiny in 2017. The part of Luo Luo attracted her to the public and aided her climb to fame. Wu reunited with My Sunshine co-star Luo Yunxi in the fantasy romance drama A Life Time Love the following year.
Wu appeared as a guest star in the palace drama Ruyi's Royal Love in the Palace in 2018, where she played an adversary for the first time. She co-starred in the fantasy action drama Oriental Odyssey with Zheng Yecheng the same year.
Wu co-starred in the music romance drama The Brightest Star in the Sky with Huang Zitao in 2019. She appeared in the romance web series Le Coup de Foudre the same year.
Wu co-starred in the sports romantic drama Skate into Love with Zhang Xincheng in 2020.
Private life
It was revealed in 2021 that she and her Le Coup de Foudre co-star Zhang Yujian are married and have a daughter. In 2022, they divorced.
