Officially, Jamie Bell and Kate Mara are parents to two children.
In a straightforward Instagram post on Thursday, the actress, 39, disclosed that the pair welcomed their second child together last week, a boy.
Similar to how she announced the birth of her daughter in 2019, Mara uploaded a picture of a baby's toes poking out from under a blanket and onesie and said, "Had a baby a week ago. His feet are shown here.
Bell and Mara have already given birth to a girl, whose name they have withheld. The 36-year-old Rocketman star and ex-wife Evan Rachel Wood have a son together.
The A Teacher actress confirmed her pregnancy in a photo posted on Instagram in July while wearing a short pink dress with silver decorations on top. Bell, in contrast, radiated traditional cool in a black suit.
"There are three of us in this picture," Mara commented next to a picture of Bell and her holding hands.
Some of their well-known pals showed them affection in the comments area.
As MJ Rodriguez added, "Omg congratulations cutie," Andrew Rannells replied, "Congratulations!"
Mara revealed on Dr. Berlin's Informed Pregnancy Podcast that she had a miscarriage prior to becoming pregnant with her daughter, explaining that she had a blighted ovum, which, according to americanpregnancy.org, happens "when a fertilised egg attaches itself to the uterine wall, but the embryo does not develop."
It was strange, almost sweet or bitter. When she learned she was expecting again after the loss, she said, "I was so delighted, but also sad because we weren't as excited as we were the first time, because that was evident that it was a completely different dynamic.
Fall 2015 saw the beginning of Mara and Bell's relationship, and PEOPLE announced their engagement in January 2017. The following July, the former Fantastic Four co-stars announced their marriage on social media.
On Instagram, Mara shared a picture of Bell and her kissing on what seemed to be the dance floor of their wedding. She wrote "Nuptials" as the photo's caption.
Later, Bell posted the same image on each of his accounts with the caption "Mr. and Mrs. B."
Bell stated, "We actually got married right across the street from our house," in a January 2018 interview with James Corden. I genuinely awoke in my own bed, crossed the street, and attended our wedding.
