The creation of "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty" has already "had a few discussions" with Jonathan Majors and Destin Daniel Cretton.
Although the Marvel film isn't expected to be published until 2025, Jonathan has already spoken to the director about the project. The 33-year-old actor will play Kang in it.
He said to Variety "We barely talked at all. We had a lengthy conversation, and I found him to be grounded, with an open heart and mind.
"The fact that he and his work are based, given that we're dealing with myths, is what I believe to be the most significant aspect of it. A Kang is what? A movie is what? Do you know what an MCU movie is? Why does that matter? How does that appear?
"Those are the issues we're asking, but everything works when it's grounded and truly, really tucked within the conditions of what's going on between these people, and what we can illuminate for ourselves as a species," the author said.
Jonathan recently acknowledged that he was intrigued by the character's "dimensions."
In addition to "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," the actor said: "It was Kang's personality and stature. as well as its possibilities. I determined that I would gamble with that."
Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel, is eager to see Jonathan in the part.
Kevin, 49, said he'd be the ideal choice for the role of Kang.
Jonathan is a tremendously engaging actor who works hard yet makes it look effortless, and he's also just cool; everyone pays attention when he walks into the room, the man said.
