Harrison Ford is beyond happy to be taking Indiana Jones on one more journey.
The fifth Indiana Jones film is in the works, according to a tweet from Disney from back in 2020, and "Indy himself, Harrison Ford, will be back to resume his famous character's journey."
Fans all over the world were enthused by this news, especially on Twitter.
"No way!!!! I was so ecstatic I believed he would never want to do another one "a follower tweeted.
Another admirer remarked, "Hearing the news of Harrison Ford returning to action as Indiana Jones is great; he is like the final action hero."
The actor expressed his eagerness to return to the classic Indiana Jones shenanigans, which involve all the "running, jumping, tumbling, and rolling about on floors," to Parade in 2020.
Ford certainly knows how to tease his followers, but we don't mind!
When will the film Indiana Jones 5 debut?
Although the premiere was originally scheduled for July 2022, it has now been postponed and will now take place in June 2023.

In September, the Indiana Jones 5 trailer made its debut at Disney's D23 convention. Although the trailer hasn't been made publicly available, Empire Magazine called it "extremely action-packed."
Ford reportedly broke down when speaking to the audience in a surprise visit at the D23 Expo following the release of the teaser.
After thanking the audience, he started crying in his address. "We appreciate you making these movies such an amazing experience for us all. I'm thrilled to say that this one is excellent." According to Variety, Ford remarked.
What will the plot of Indiana Jones 5 be?
The story remains a mystery. Ford and Lucasfilm, who produced the film, have so far kept the plot of the show a secret. But at least we are confident that the movie will feature the same amount of action and adventure as previous instalments in the series.
