Ghana Ali Raza (Urdu: ) is a Pakistani film, television, and theater actress. She is well-known for her performances in Pakistani dramas. Ali rose to prominence as the lead in the Geo TV drama series Sangdil. In 2017, she made her feature film debut in the musical drama Rangreza.
Career as an actor
Ali describes her first drama serial experience as "tough," and considers 2015 to be one of the most difficult years of her career thus far. According to an article published in The News International earlier this year, she is "definitely one of the actresses to watch out for" based on her series of hit drama serials. She is known for taking on challenging roles. She is an outspoken supporter of LGBT rights in Pakistan. Her upcoming film, Meri Jhaant Pahle Aap, is about LGBT people. In 2012, she and Saba Faisal posted photographs in support of filmmaker Lina Esco's Free the Nipple campaign.
