Elvis is portrayed in a new film by the star of Euphoria and Kissing Booth.

Jacob Elordi from Euphoria will soon portray Elvis Presley in Sofia Coppola's Priscilla film, which she will also write and direct.

The film, which starts shooting in Toronto this fall and is based on Priscilla Presley's 1985 memoir Elvis and Me, will recount private moments from her marriage to the King of Rock and Roll.
Elordi, who also played in Netflix's Kissing Booth trilogy of movies, will co-star as Priscilla opposite Mare of Easttown actor Cailee Spaeny, according to Deadline.
Hollywood is choosing musical superstars for biopics in the aftermath of the huge box office successes of Rocketman and Bohemian Rhapsody.
But after Austin Butler, Tom Hanks, and filmmaker Baz Luhrmann gave us the Oscar-contender Elvis just a few months ago, Priscilla won't be the first significant Presley production.

In the meantime, Luhrmann had disclosed in June that Harry Styles from Don't Worry, Darling initially tried out for Presley.

Why wouldn't he put him front and centre of his film if he is nothing less than a transcendental superstar?

Harry has a lot of acting talent. I would collaborate with Harry, but the main problem with Harry is that he is Harry Styles. He is already well-known.

Harry and I arrived at a location where he was actually eager to put the suit on and explore. I can't say enough good things about Harry Styles; he's such a fantastic soul," said the director of The Great Gatsby.

The interesting thing about Aust was that he would readily admit, "I didn't pick him; it's as if he was pulled; like the character drew him in because he was virtually born to play it.
