Demet Ozdemir Koç is a Turkish actress and former dancer who was born on February 26, 1992.
Demet Ozdemir was born on February 26, 1992, as the youngest of three children. She moved to Istanbul with her mother and siblings when she was seven years old, following her parents' divorce.
Her grandmother was a member of Bulgaria's Turkish minority. She moved to Turkey from Bulgaria. Later, her grandmother and brother immigrated to Germany. She died in Germany in October 2022.
She married musician and actor Ouzhan Koç on August 28, 2022.
Her dance career began as a backup dancer for Bengü, and she later joined the dance group Efes Kzlar. zdemir then appeared in Mustafa Sandal's "Ateş Et ve Unut" music video.
Her first acting role was in Fox's fantasy series Sana Bir Sr Vereceim, alongside her first partner Ekin Koç, as the character "Aylin" with electric power. For a young audience, this role became a phenomenon. The series amassed a devoted following. As a result, the series was released before its prime time. It was not intended for an adult audience. Later, she played "Ayla" in the historical series Kurt Seyit ve ura, and she played "Demet" in the film Tut Sözünü. She then portrayed "Asl" in the Star TV series ilek Kokusu. Zdemir also appeared in Bengü's "Hodri Meydan" music video.
Zdemir starred as "Lale Yenilmez" in the Turkish romantic comedy series No 309 in 2016. It concluded with 65 episodes on October 25, 2017. It was also broadcast in Venezuela, Paraguay, Chile, Bolivia, Spain, Romania, and Hungary. She appeared in the dance-comedy film "Sen Kiminle Dans Ediyorsun," written by Burak Aksak, the well-known author of the hit surreal comedy Leyla ile Mecnun.
She starred as "Sanem" in the Turkish romantic comedy series Erkenci Kuş (Daydreamer) alongside Can Yaman from 2018 to 2019. She won Best Actress at the 2019 Murex d'Or in Lebanon for her work in this series. Erkenci Kuş appeared on prime-time television in Italy several times, and she was invited to the popular entertainment show Verissimo. Over 3.5 million people watched her interview.
She was named Pantene Turkey's brand ambassador in November 2019.
Zdemir starred as "Zeynep" in Doduun Ev Kaderindir from 2019 to 2021. (My Home, My Destiny). The show is produced by OGM Pictures, directed by ar Bayrak, and will premiere on TV8 on December 25, 2019. The story is based on Gülseren Budaycolu's novel Camdaki Kz.
She then starred in the Netflix films Aşk Taktikleri and Aşk Taktikleri 2.
