Darya Nikolaevna Ekamasova (Russian: aр иколаевна камасова; born 20 May 1984) is a Russian film and theater actress. Once Upon a Time There Was a Simple Woman (2011), Free Floating (2006), and Celestial Wives of the Meadow Mari (2012) are among her cinematic credits. She also appeared in the 2014 television mini-series Kuprin. Yama. She plays Sofia Kovalenko in The Americans' fifth and sixth seasons (2017-2018).

Early years

Ekamasova was born in Moscow, Russian Soviet Socialist Republic, Soviet Union. She went to the Russian University of Theatre Arts after finishing music school (Workshop Aleksandr Porokhovschikov).

Theater Ekamasova made her stage debut as Lyubochka Mendeleeva in Vladimir Ageev's play "Captive Spirits" (Playwright and Director Center n/p A. Kazantsev and M. Roshchin). She also appeared in "Life is Good," which won the Special Jury Prize Dramatic Theatre National Theatre Award "Golden Mask" in 2010; and "18th Hour."
