Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying (Thai:, IPA: [th.t.mon t.tà.rn.sùk.jî]; born 2 February 1996), also known as Aokbab (Thai: ; RTGS: Ok-baep; IPA: [k.bp]), is a Thai model and actress best known for her performance as Lynn in the 2017 film Bad Genius. In 2017, she became the first Thai actress to receive the Screen International Rising Star Asia Award at the New York Asian Film Festival.
Childhood and education
Chutimon was born in Bangkok, Thailand on February 2, 1996. She is presently a student at Chulalongkorn University's Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts. Her nickname is "Aokbab," which translates to "to design" in Thai.
Chutimon began her modelling career when she was only 15 years old. She was the first Thai model to appear in Harper's Bazaar UK's "A Shadow of a Jade Empire" issue in October 2013. She also appeared in Helmetheads' "Unfriend" and Mrs.Slave's "Pajhonpai" music videos. She played a major role in the viral short film "Thank you for Sharing" by Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit. Chutimon's first acting role was Lynn, which helped her earn notoriety and appreciation for her performance in the 2017 film Bad Genius. Chutimon became the first Thai actress to win the Screen International Rising Star Asia award for her depiction of Lynn at the 16th New York Asian Film Festival in 2017.
