Canadian actress Chantel Riley is of Jamaican descent.
In a German version of The Lion King in Hamburg, Riley made her stage debut in 2011 as Nala. She performed the same role on Broadway the year after.
She then made the transition to film, making her acting debut in the Jesse Owens biopic Race. Trudy Clarke's co-starring roles in Frankie Drake Mysteries and Kate's role in Wynonna Earp are two examples of her TV work. She starred in the drama series Pearson on the USA Network in 2019.
In the Assassin's Creed video games, she has also voiced Layla Hassan in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla, Assassin's Creed Odyssey, and Origins.
