Cast as Colin Farrells co-star in The Penguin Series is Cristin Miloti

The female lead in the DC Comics original limited drama series The Penguin on HBO Max has been cast as Cristin Milioti (working title for now). The Batman, a Matt Reeves feature picture that debuted in March of this year and also starred Colin Farrell, is the basis for the upcoming series, which will include Farrell as the main character.
The series will expand on the universe Reeves conceived and imagined for the blockbuster movie starring Robert Pattinson and centres on Oswald Cobblepot, also known as the evil "Penguin," who is a mid-to-high level gangster in the Gotham City of Reeves' version of the city. With a worldwide revenue of $770.8 million, The Batman was both a critical and financial triumph. Reeves' directing and the actors in particular received praise.

Sofia Falcone is the daughter of Carmine Falcone, the Gotham mafia boss who was portrayed by John Turturro in the film, and Milioti has agreed to play her. For dominance of the mob scene and the city of Gotham, Sofia will face off against the Penguin.
In the dark comedy series The Resort, which is presently streaming on Peacock and is awaiting a decision on whether to renew for a second season, Milioti portrays the female protagonist. She won praise from critics for her performance in the time-loop comedy-drama Palm Springs, which she shared with Andy Samberg. Her big break came when Tracy McConnell, the mother of the titular show on CBS, was exposed after eight seasons of the programme. For her contribution in Once on Broadway, Milioti received both a Grammy Award and a nomination for a Tony Award.

Executive producers for the film The Penguin include Reeves, Farrell, Dylan Clark, Craig Zobel, and Lauren LeFranc. LeFranc will write the show and serve as showrunner, and Zobel will direct the first two episodes of the series. For his work behind the camera on HBO's famous drama Mare of Easttown, Zobel was previously nominated for two Emmy Awards.

Although a premiere date for the series has not yet been formally announced, production on The Penguin is currently expected to start in New York City in January and go through the summer of 2023.

The first episode of the show, which I read, is just so delectable and so odd as the character was on the page and what Matt Reeves kind of envisioned when he thought of this incarnation of the smash up of Oz, according to Farrell, who previously spoke exclusively to Collider about the show.

Below, you can watch Colin Farrell's Collider interview, which also features Brendan Gleeson from Banshees of Inisherin:
