Career And Life

Tampa, Florida is where Brittany Anne Snow was reared after being born on March 9th, 1986. She is John Snow and Cinda's child. She is the sister of two siblings. She went to Tampa's Gaither High School.

At the age of three, Snow made her modeling debut in a print advertisement for Burdines department stores. She played the troubled teen Susan "Daisy" Lemay for three years on the Guiding Light soap series on CBS. In the third season of Nip/Tuck, she portrayed neo-Nazi high school student Ariel Alderman in addition to Meg Pryor in the drama series American Dreams on NBC. On the American Dreams soundtrack, she provided background vocals for the song "My Boyfriend's Back." She co-starred with Lauren Graham and Vin Diesel in the 2005 family comedy The Pacifier. Alongside Jesse Metcalfe, Snow starred in the teen romantic comedy John Tucker Must Die (2006). The movie was financially successful, grossing $68 million globally. She provided the voices for Shizuku Tsukishima in the Studio Ghibli film Whisper of the Heart and Naminé in the video game Kingdom Hearts II in 2006. In the season seven finale of Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, she also played a young woman suffering from bipolar disorder. The Academy Is...'s "The Phrase That Pays" music video, which was released in July 2006, featured Snow.

Snow played Amber Von Tussle, the character's daughter, in the 2007 movie adaption of the Broadway musical Hairspray starring Michelle Pfeiffer. She had previously collaborated with Adam Shankman, the director of The Pacifier, a Disney movie. Her musical talent is displayed in numerous songs for her role in Hairspray, including a solo called "The New Girl In Town," which was originally deleted from the Broadway musical version. In the horror movie Prom Night (2008), in which she portrayed Donna Keppel, the movie's opening weekend box office haul was $57.2 million. In the episode "Valley Girls" of Gossip Girl, Snow played a teenage Lily Bass. The legal drama Harry's Law's first season premiered on January 17, 2011, and Snow made a return appearance as a recurring character. She appeared in the 2011 thriller 96 Minutes with Evan Ross.

Snow played the a cappella singer Chloe in the musical comedy Pitch Perfect in 2012. She played the same part in Pitch Perfect 2 (2015), which earned over $287 million globally and received largely favorable reviews from critics. It outperformed the original movie's overall box office earnings of $115.4 million in just five days and eclipsed School of Rock ($131.3 million) to become the highest-grossing music comedy movie of all time. She played the same character one last time in Pitch Perfect 3 (2017), which earned $185 million worldwide but garnered mixed reviews from critics. She was hired to play Lila, Tommy's potential love interest, in the sitcom Ben and Kate in November 2012. Snow played Michelle in the 2016 comedy The Late Bloomer, and she played Lucy, the main character, in the 2017 action thriller Bushwick.

In the 2019 Netflix romantic comedy Someone Great, Snow portrayed Blair Helms. On February 19, 2019, Snow revealed the news of her engagement to realtor and competitive surfer Tyler Stanaland. The two got hitched on March 14, 2020, in Malibu. On September 14, 2022, Snow posted a social media breakup announcement. She played Bobby-Lynne Parker in horror movie X (2022) by director Ti West.

With Parachute, which had its world premiere at the SXSW film festival in March 2023, Snow made her directorial debut.

Philanthropy

Clothes Off Our Back, Declare Yourself, Do Something, Feeding America, Habitat For Humanity, Point Foundation, Red Cross, Soles4Souls, The Heart Truth, The Trevor Project, Stomp Out Bullying, and The Art of Elysium are just a few of the charities that Snow has supported. On February 13, 2009, Snow strutted down the catwalk at The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection presentation as part of New York Fashion Week. A program called The Heart Truth aims to increase public awareness of the danger of heart disease in women. Snow has backed Barefoot Week by Soles4Souls. "Soles4Souls is there to respond to the straightforward needs of millions of people, whether it's a Kenyan youngster who's having trouble getting to school or an American who needs a pair of work boots. We sincerely hope that you would take part in Barefoot Week and work to transform the world one pair at a time, she added. She participated in the NOH8 Campaign in 2012.

She is credited with co-founding the not-for-profit Jed Foundation project, the Love is Louder movement. Love is Louder's clubs, events, and initiatives have helped thousands of people, campuses, and communities deal with problems like bullying, body image concerns, prejudice, and depression. Snow received a Special Recognition Voice Award from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration in 2015 for her work raising awareness of mental health concerns.

Public Perception

CosmoGirl, Teen, Maxim, Entertainment Weekly, People, YM Prom, Miami Living, Vegas, and pictorials for Zooey Magazine, Vanity Fair, Cosmopolitan, and InStyle are just a few of the magazines that have featured Snow on their covers. Facts

  • She publicly discussed her eating condition and how it had affected her.
  • At the age of three, Brittany debuted in a print advertisement for the department store chain Burdines (which has since merged with Macy's).
  • Waxing the entire face rather than just the eyebrows is the worst beauty tip she has ever heard. She therefore just continues to wax her eyebrows because the incident left her face covered in several sores. Her birthday was the following day. So on her birthday, she was forced to go with a face covered with rashes.
  • Many people have commented to Brittany that she resembles Reese Witherspoon's younger sister.
  • When going outside in the sun, she always applies SPF moisturizer, drinks lots of water, and dons sunglasses.
  • She appears at position #23 on the 2011 Hot 100 Women list published by Maxim.
