Brie Larson runs into a famed scream queen while wearing a costume from the horror genre.

In the ongoing drama of Brie Larson's Twitter selfies, the Captain Marvel star has stated that she is very much in the Halloween mood this October 31 because she has just met a horror movie classic and is herself channelling one of the best scream queens in the genre.
On Monday, Larson posted a photo taken inside her local Party City to social media, showing what appears to be an overly enthusiastic staffer decked out as Michael Myers, complete with a William Shatner mask (presumably from Halloween 5), boilersuit, and butcher knife. Although the actress has mostly cropped herself out of the picture, judging by the clothes she's wearing, which are reminiscent of the 1970s, it's safe to assume she looks a lot like Jamie Lee Curtis as Laurie Strode.

The prospect of the Oscar-nominated actress acting in a horror film herself, something she has yet to accomplish in her eclectic career thus far, has some horror and Brie Larson fans out there salivating at the mouth. In all honesty, Brie's unexpected entrance would have significantly improved Halloween Ends. Think about how much more awesome the franchise's ending would have been if Carol Danvers had appeared in the third act to defeat Michael with her binary abilities.

At some time today, Larson will perhaps give us a closer look at her own Halloween outfit, though it would be difficult for her to top her internet-shattering Britney Spears cosplay from 2019. While we wait, keep in mind that she will next be seen in the MCU in The Marvels, which is set to release on July 28, 2023.
