Billie Lourd Wiki, Age, Biography, Height, Boyfriend, Family, Images, And More

Actress Billie Catherine Lourd was born in the United States on July 17, 1992. She is well-known for her parts in the FX horror anthology series American Horror Story (2017–present) and for playing Chanel #3 in the Fox horror comedy series Scream Queens (2015–2016). She also makes an appearance in the 2015–2019 Star Wars sequel trilogy as Lieutenant Connix. Carrie Fisher, an actress, is the sole parent of Lourd.

Early Life

Billie Catherine Lourd was the only child of actress Carrie Fisher and talent agent Bryan Lourd when she was born in Los Angeles, California, on July 17, 1992. Lourd is also the sole grandchild of singer Eddie Fisher and actress Debbie Reynolds, as well as the niece of actors Todd Fisher, Joely Fisher, and Tricia Leigh Fisher. She has an adopted sister named Ava who was born of her father's union with Bruce Bozzi. She is of Scots-Irish/English and Russian-Jewish ancestry, descended from her mother's side. Meryl Streep, an actress, is her godmother. Lourd's godfather is author Bruce Wagner. In his memoirs (Been There Done That), Eddie Fisher revealed that his granddaughter's name is Catherine Fisher Lourd and that she goes by the moniker "Billy".

At Le Bal des débutantes at the Hôtel de Crillon in Paris in 2008, Lourd made her stage debut. Chanel outfitted her appropriately for the situation.

The Harvard-Westlake School in Los Angeles served as Lourd's high school. In 2014, she received a degree in "Art and Business as Religion" from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York University.

Career

2015–2019: Initial positions

In the 2015 Star Wars prequel movie The Force Awakens, Lourd plays Lieutenant Connix. She claimed to have tried out for the lead part of Rey, which finally went to Daisy Ridley, on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in 2017. Lourd additionally made an appearance in the third film, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker (2019), as well as the second film, Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017. In the movie, Lourd also portrayed her mother's role for a brief flashback scene in which Fisher's likeness was digitally added on Fisher's face using Return of the Jedi images.

Lourd received a role in the Fox horror-comedy series Scream Queens in February 2015. Earmuffs are worn by Lourd's character, Chanel #3, a wealthy and disgruntled sorority girl, as a nod to Fisher's famous "cinnamon buns" hairdo from the first Star Wars movie. Lourd discussed her first encounter with Scream Queens creator Ryan Murphy in a statement in December 2015:

I was simply extremely laid back and nonchalant about the news since I assumed he wanted me to audition. Since I was aware that wasn't how things worked, I didn't believe he wanted to hire me. You know that offer you didn't sound very enthused about, they said the next day? It's not an audition; it's an offer. I lost my cool. I had no idea how he was achieving this! I spent the following week in New Orleans.

Lourd joined the cast of the American biographical crime-drama film Billionaire Boys Club in December 2015 and played Kyle Biltmore's love interest, Rosanna. The movie was made available on July 17, 2018. The movie's premiere was delayed as a result of allegations that star Kevin Spacey had harassed women. For the second season of Scream Queens in 2016, Lourd made a comeback. For the seventh season of American Horror Story, she joined the cast in the part of Winter Anderson. She also played former Manson Family cult member Linda Kasabian. She returned to American Horror Story to play the powerful witch Mallory in the eighth season, Apocalypse.

2019–present: ongoing success

Olivia Wilde's high school comedy Booksmart starred Lourd as Gigi in 2019. Lourd also made a comeback in American Horror Story's ninth season, 1984, as punk rocker Montana Duke, an aerobics fanatic. According to Murphy, he was so moved by Lourd's work in 1984 that he decided to write her own miniseries. She made an appearance as Fiona, the granddaughter of the character that her real-life grandmother, Debbie Reynolds, played on the NBC comedy Will & Grace during its initial run, in the ninth episode of the show's eleventh and final season. Lourd made an appearance in an Old Navy holiday-themed television advertisement in December 2019.

For the tenth season of American Horror Story in 2021, Lourd made a comeback as the enigmatic tattoo artist and dentist Lark Feldman. She co-starred with Julia Roberts and George Clooney in the romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise the following year. She also appeared in the eleventh season of American Horror Story as Hannah Wells, a biologist working in New York City and researching a particular viral strain. She will next play Audrey in Daniel Reisinger's cross-country comedy And Mrs, which will wind up filming in October 2022.

Private life

Early in 2016, Lourd started dating actor Austen Rydell. Between December 2016 and July 2017, she dated actor and Scream Queens co-star Taylor Lautner during her brief breakup with Rydell. Lourd and Rydell reconciled later in 2017. Their baby was born in September 2020, and they got engaged in June 2020. They tied the knot in March 2022. Lourd gave birth to a girl, her second child, in December 2022.

Lourd is the granddaughter-in-law of director Mark Rydell and actress Joanne Linville through her marriage to Rydell. She is also the daughter-in-law of actor Christopher Rydell.
