Babil Khan, the late actor Irrfan Khan's son, will make his acting debut in Anushka Sharma's production of "Qala" in Mumbai. The newcomer, though, made a fleeting cameo in the teaser that was unveiled on Saturday at Netflix's Tudum event.

Beginning with a brief clip of Babil singing, the one minute, 35 second teaser quickly switches its attention to actress Tripti Dimrii, who is portraying a singer. In addition to Swastika Mukherjee and Amit Sial, "Qala" also has Anvitaa Dutt as the director and Karnesh Ssharma as the producer.

The story of the young eponymous playback singer is told in Qala, which is set in the 1930s and the late 1940s. It is about how her sad history catches up with her and causes her to fall apart just as she is reaching the pinnacle of her hard-won achievement.
