When she was little, Ayame Goriki liked to stand out. She informed her parents when she was in elementary school that she wanted to be a model. She was an exclusive model for the fashion magazine Seventeen from February 2008 to May 2013.

She participated in the Fuji TV monthly drama Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta in January 2011. She modified her appearance significantly for the job by growing her hair long.
