Born on February 19, 1985, Arielle Caroline Kebbel is an American actress and model. She has made appearances in a number of TV shows, including Gilmore Girls (2003–2004), The Vampire Diaries (2009–2017), Life Unexpected (2010), 90210 (2011–2013), Ballers (2015–2016, 2019), Midnight Texas (2017–2018), and Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector (2019–2020). Additionally, Kebbel has acted in films like American Pie Presents: Band Camp (2005, 2006), John Tucker Must Die (2006, 2007), The Grudge 2 (2006, 2007), Forever Strong (2008, 2008), The Uninvited (2009, 2009), Think Like a Man (2012, 2012), Fifty Shades Freed (2018, 2018), and After Ever Happy (2022).
Kebbel was born in Winter Park, Florida, on February 19, 1985. She is primarily descended from German and Swiss Germans. Sheri, her mother, runs a production firm and works as a talent manager. Kebbel completed his education at Winter Garden's Crenshaw School. At the Miss Florida Teen USA pageant in 2002, she finished as the first runner-up. Kebbel worked as a model full-time before pursing an acting career. She received her training at the Florida-based Lisa Maile Image, Modelling & Acting School. Acting Profession
Kebbel had a great audition and was cast as Lindsay Lister on The CW's Gilmore Girls within a week of arriving in Los Angeles, California. She later developed into a recurring character during the course of the third, fourth, and fifth seasons. She contributed to television shows like The Vampire Diaries, Grounded for Life, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Entourage, and Entourage. She participated in two ABC pilots: Football Wives and No Heroes.
In the hip-hop comedy Soul Plane from 2004, Kebbel collaborated with Kevin Hart, Tom Arnold, and Snoop Dogg. Be Cool, The Kid & I, American Pie Presents: Band Camp, and Reeker are just a few of the films she appeared in. In the 2006 romance comedy John Tucker Must Die from 20th Century Fox, Kebbel portrayed Carrie Schaeffer. On July 28, 2006, it was released in North America, and it has since made a total of US$68 million. Kebbel agreed to work on Aquamarine (2006), a 20th Century Fox movie with Sara Paxton, Emma Roberts, and JoJo. Cecilia Banks, the villain of the movie, was portrayed by Kebbel. Kebbel appeared in The Grudge 2 in 2006 opposite Teresa Palmer and Sarah Michelle Gellar. The movie is a follow-up to the horror remake of the Japanese original The Grudge from 2004. Schoolgirl Allison Flemming was played by Kebbel, who described her character as "the girl you see in the background of all the pictures that wants to be a part of everything but never is" The same year, in April, Tokyo, Japan, served as the location for filming. The movie, which debuted on October 13, 2006, was a box office hit, earning over $70 million globally.
She costarred with Penn Badgley, Sean Faris, and Neal McDonough in the 2008 sports drama film Forever Strong as Emily Owens. In Salt Lake City in August 2006, there was filming. After John Tucker Must Die, this is Badgley and Kebbel's second movie together. On September 26, 2008, a direct-to-DVD release of the movie took place.
In the horror movie Freakdog with Sarah Carter, Kebbel was cast as Katherine, the lead character, in February 2008. On August 22, 2008, the movie had a brief theatrical run before being swiftly made available on DVD in February 2009. It received a bad response from everyone.
Kebbel will play Alex Ivers in the American version of the 2003 South Korean horror movie A Tale of Two Sisters, Paramount Pictures announced in March 2008. Elizabeth Banks and Emily Browning will co-star, according to reports. Late 2008 saw filming in Vancouver, British Columbia. Despite the cast's performances, reviews were "mixed-to-negative." The movie took in $40 million USD globally. In addition, Kebbel starred in the comedy The Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best, which had its world premiere at the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival on September 9. She will appear on 9-1-1 periodically as rival Firehouse 147 firefighter Lucy Donato.
Personal Life
Torrey DeVitto, an actress who was also raised in Winter Park, Florida, and Kebbel are close friends. Kebbel has always had a passion for horses and took her first riding lesson when she was five years old. Additionally, she spends time opposing the daily roundup and slaughter of horses.
