Following the infamous altercation that took place after All Out earlier this month, Brandon Cutler is making his first official AEW appearance since returning from suspension a few weeks ago. Today's AEW Games stream features "Two-Contract" Cutler and airs every Wednesday before "AEW Dynamite." Although Cutler had been regularly seen on the stream in the past, he has been noticeably absent lately.
After Matt Jackson hinted at an impending return to AEW action yesterday on Instagram, Cutler has returned to the network's official schedule. The Young Bucks account has once again been retweeted by the official AEW Twitter account in order to promote the release of the tag team's new special shoes. Without context, this might not signify much, but taken together, these might be signs that the independent inquiry into the altercation behind the scenes is nearing its conclusion and that at least part of the talent who is still on suspension might be returning to the organisation.
Cutler was reportedly summoned back to work before the Young Bucks, Kenny Omega, Ace Steel, or the injured CM Punk since he was one of the roster members who tried to put an end to the fight, along with Christopher Daniels, Pat Buck, and Michael Nakazawa.
On the "Dynamite" programme that followed the incident, CM Punk and The Young Bucks both lost their freshly won AEW Trios World Championships, while Kenny Omega also lost the AEW World Championship. If Punk returns to the team at all, he'll most likely be out for the next seven to eight months owing to a triceps injury.
