An intense trailer for Kamen Rider Black Sun is released.

Black Sun is geared for an adult audience, in contrast to many previous instalments in the enormous Kamen Rider multimedia brand. The plot will be filled with deep emotion, social unrest, bodily horror, and action, according to the video. As a part of the festivities marking the franchise's 50th anniversary, the show will make its debut on October 28.
Insect-themed superheroes riding battle-ready motorcycles are featured in Kamen Rider media, which is regarded as one of the pillars of the tokusatsu subgenre. Shotaro Ishinomori, who is already well-known for the Super Sentai series (also known as Power Rangers), the Toei Company, and Ishimori Productions established the enduring, famous franchise, which began in 1971 with the airing of the first Kamen Rider television programme. Since then, there have been a tonne of web-exclusive shows, video games, and cinema and television specials.

The legendary franchise has undergone several recent developments besides the impending launch of Kamen Rider Black Sun. Fuuto Pi, a brand-new anime series, premiered back in July. In this follow-up to Kamen Rider W, Shotaro Hidari, a self-described "hard-boiled investigator," and an unidentified guy named Philip combine to become the eponymous character of the first programme. Together, they take on Yukiji Bando, a fresh antagonist with ties to Foundation X, a criminal enterprise that has appeared in several episodes of the Kamen Rider franchise.
Shotaro, Philip, and Bando are played by Yoshimasa Hosoya (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime), Kouki Uchiyama (Yuri!! on Ice), and Daisuke Ono (Welcome to Demon School, Iruma-kun). Akira Sekine (Akebi's Sailor Uniform), Makoto Furukawa (Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) and Mikako Komatsu are other cast members (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba). Crunchyroll offers streaming of Fuuto Pi.

A new Kamen Rider limited series was also previously revealed by Titan Comics. Continuing the plot of the corresponding live-action programme in 2019. Aruto Hiden, a young CEO who doubles as the main superhero in the anime series Kamen Rider: Zero-One, will be followed on his adventures by writer Brandon Easton (Mister Miracle: The Source of Freedom) and illustrator Hendry Prasetya (Robotech).

Starring Hidetoshi Nishijima, Tomoya Nakamura, Takahiro Miura, and Y Yoshida, Kamen Rider Black Sun is directed by Kazuya Shiraishi and written by Izumi Takahashi. Ten episodes will make up the entire season, which will only be available on Prime Video.
