AppleTV has released a trailer for "Spirited," a musical update on "A Christmas Carol" starring Ryan Reynolds and Will Ferrell, even though Halloween is still weeks away.
Clint Briggs, played by Reynolds, is a Scrooge-like miser, and Will Ferrell plays the Ghost of Christmas Present. The film's synopsis hints at an unexpected change of events, in which Briggs seemingly plays the role of the antagonist and forces Present to reflect on his own life and its trajectory.
The film also stars Octavia Spencer and has original music composed by La La Land, The Greatest Showman, and Dear Evan Hansen songwriters Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
On November 11th, "Spirited" will debut in theatres, and a week later, on AppleTV+:
