American actress Alanna Masterson, who was born on June 27, 1988, is best known for playing Tara Chambler in the AMC drama The Walking Dead.
Masterson was born in New York City to Lebanese-Australian former professional rugby league footballer Joe Reaiche and Carol Masterson. He played for the Sydney Roosters and the South Sydney Rabbitohs. She has an older brother named Jordan Masterson as well as two half-brothers named Danny and Christopher. The family lived on Long Island for a while before moving to Los Angeles. Her older brothers, who both appeared in well-liked television programs in the late 1990s and early 2000s, surrounded her growing up and had an influence on her. Spending a lot of time on set with her siblings and witnessing the filming process sparked Masterson's enthusiasm for acting.

Daughter Marlowe was born to Masterson and her ex-boyfriend Brick Stowell on November 4, 2015.
Due to Scientology's practice of avoiding critics, Masterson and her brother are Scientologists and are separated from her father.
