Australian actress and model Adelaide Victoria Kane was born on August 9, 1990. She became well-known for her performances as Lolly Allen in the soap opera Neighbours and Tenaya 7 (later Tenaya 15) in the kids' show Power Rangers RPM. She later starred in the American CW historical drama Reign as Mary, Queen of Scots. She additionally played Cora Hale in Teen Wolf's third season on MTV and Drizella in Once Upon a Time on ABC.
Adelaide In the Perth, Western Australia suburb of Claremont, Victoria Kane was born on August 9, 1990. Her mother is an Australian with Scottish, Irish, and French ancestry, while her father is Scottish and originated from Glasgow.
Adelaide and her brother were raised by their single mother after her parents' divorce when she was seven years old. She attended St. Hilda's Anglican School for Girls while growing up in Perth. She and her mother relocated to Melbourne when she joined the cast of Neighbours, while her brother and stepfather stayed in Perth. Additionally, when filming the children's television series Power Rangers RPM, she briefly resided in New Zealand.
She relocated to Los Angeles, California, in September 2009 when she was 19 years old in order to further her acting career.
Kane started performing when he was three years old, first with dance and then adding singing and acting. She began her professional career at the age of six in a few print advertisements before advancing to TV spots and participating in a number of kid-friendly TV programmes.
Kane was chosen to play Lolly Allen in the Neighbours cast in August 2006 after she participated in a contest sponsored by Dolly magazine. With the show, she was offered a three-month contract. She was persuaded to enter the contest by her friends, but she did not believe she would truly get the part. After her contract was not renewed, Kane made the announcement that she would be departing the show in December 2006. Kane had not yet made an appearance as Lolly when the news was announced. For her portrayal of Lolly in 2008, Kane was nominated for a Logie Award for Most Popular New Female Talent.
On the Power Rangers, Kane played Tenaya 7 from March to December 2009. RPM, a series of the venerable Power Rangers.
Kane featured in the NBC television movie Secrets of the Mountain in April 2010. She also had a starring role in the 2010 Hulu series Pretty Tough, which had 20 episodes and was based on Li Tigelaar's book of the same name. For the part of Maggie Winnock in Cartoon Network's first live-action series Unnatural History, Kane travelled to the audition in 2010. The actresses chosen for the casting were She and Italia Ricci; Ricci ultimately received the part.
She portrays Aubrey in the movie Goats in 2012. It was revealed on November 28, 2012, that Kane had joined the Teen Wolf cast as Cora Hale.
In the CW historical drama Reign, Kane was cast as Mary, Queen of Scots in February 2013. She had her appearance in the hit thriller The Purge that same year.
Kane also makes an appearance as a human death knight in World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.
Ruth was played by Kane in the 2014 slasher flick The Devil's Hand. She initially went in for the role of Alycia Debnam-Carey, but the producers decided she wasn't the appropriate fit. Instead, they gave her the part of Ruth, who fit her personality better. In 2015, Kane starred in Scott Speer's brief thriller Realm.
As the voice of Mala, Queen of the Defenders of the Wing, Kane joined the Dragons: Race to the Edge cast in June 2016.
For the seventh season of the revival of the popular ABC show Once Upon A Time, Kane began appearing in recurring roles in July 2017. Following the departure of six important cast members at the conclusion of season six, Kane was one of five actresses to join the show for the upcoming season in starring and recurring roles. She portrayed Drizella, one of Cinderella's evil stepsisters, who was one of the villains. "Sisterhood" served as Kane's final episode of Once Upon a Time.
Kane was revealed in September 2019 to be a part of the cast of Uncanny Annie, the second Halloween episode of Into the Dark, which debuted on Hulu the following month. She participated in a few coaching sessions to get ready and loosen up for the part. Kane was originally intended to appear in the first episode of Into the Dark, The Body, before being cast in Uncanny Annie, but the role that director Paul Davis had in mind for her was eliminated just before the shooting draught was locked. Kane joined the third season cast of CBS's SEAL Team in October 2019.
Kane joined the Cosmic Sin sci-fi action movie's core cast in March 2020. In the same month, Kane appeared as Hailey Damon, Toby Damon and Kate Pearson's adoptive daughter, in the season four finale of NBC's This Is Us.
Adelaide debuted as a new intern in Grey's Anatomy's season 19 in the autumn of 2022.
Between 2014 and 2016, Kane was dating co-star of Reign Sean Teale. In July 2019, Kane and co-star Jacques Colimon of Into the Dark began dating. In 2020, the couple decided to separate. Kane stated she is bisexual in February 2021.[19] Kane began dating Dutch model Marthe Woertman in April 2021.
Kane, who has a generalised anxiety condition, has frequently spoken out about the need to eradicate the stigma associated with mental illness.
