Asl Enver Gökbudak is a Turkish actress who was born on May 10, 1984. She is best known for her roles in several TV shows, including Kavak Yelleri as Mine, Suskunlar as Ahu Kumral, and Stanbullu Gelin as Süreyya. She has also appeared in Kayp, Bana Artk Hicran De, Kardeşim Benim, Tamam myz?, and Babil.
Biography
Enver was born in London, England, on May 10, 1984, and lived there until she was 12 years old. Her father is a Turkish Cypriot who grew up in London, where he met and married Enver's mother while she was studying abroad. As a teenager, Asl Enver won a songwriting competition in London. She began her theatrical career at Istanbul's Mujdat Gezen Art Centre. She attended Pera Fine Arts High School and graduated from Haliç University with a degree in theatre studies. In Uzay Sitcomu, she played her first minor role. Later, she appeared in the hit young series Hayat Bilgisi and for five seasons played the main character "Mine Ergun" in the popular youth series Kavak Yelleri (a remake of Dawson's Creek). She has appeared in the films Tamam myz? and Kardeşim Benim, as well as the television series Suskunlar, Kayp, Bana Artk Hicran De, Mutlu Ol Yeter, and Kş Güneşi.
Private life
Enver married Birkan Sokullu on July 13, 2012. They announced their divorce in a statement issued by their lawyers on August 27, 2015.
She became close to her Kardeşim Benim co-star, Murat Boz, in 2015, and began dating him in 2016. The couple divorced in May of 2017. They ended their relationship in April 2018 after a few months of reconciliation. After 8 months of separation, they announced their reconciliation in November 2018. They did, however, split up again in October 2019.
Enver married businessman Berkin Gökbudak on November 12, 2022.
Her close friends include Dolunay Soysert and Nilay Sorgüven.
She confirmed in May 2020 that she was diagnosed with dyslexia at a young age.
